Eligibility:
The Phosphate Innovation Challenge ("the Challenge") is open to individuals aged 18 years and above, from any country around the world.
Submission Requirements:
All entries must be submitted through the designated online platform provided by Kropz Elandsfontein Mine. Entries must include the participant's full name, mobile phone number, email address, proposed plan title, and a detailed description of the innovation. Any additional supporting materials or documents should be uploaded as per the instructions on the platform.
Ownership and Intellectual Property:
By submitting an entry to the Challenge, participants acknowledge that they retain ownership of any intellectual property rights associated with their proposal. However, participants grant Kropz Elandsfontein Mine a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, and display the submitted content for promotional and marketing purposes related to the Challenge.
Originality and Plagiarism:
Entries must be the original work of the participant(s) and must not infringe upon any third party rights, including but not limited to copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or other proprietary rights. Plagiarised or copied content will result in disqualification from the Challenge.
Confidentiality:
Kropz Elandsfontein Mine respects the confidentiality of participants' ideas and will not disclose any confidential information provided in the submissions to third parties without prior consent, except as required by law.
Data Protection:
Any personal information relating to the winner or a Participant will be used solely in accordance with the CPA and POPIA and will not be disclosed to a third party in contravention of POPIA.
Selection Process:
Entries will be evaluated based on creativity, innovation, feasibility, potential impact, and alignment with the theme of revolutionising agriculture with Nanophos. The decision of the judging panel appointed by Kropz Elandfontein Mine will be final and binding. The procurement is an invitation to make an offer to Kropz, and a contract will only come into effect after Kropz has accepted it. Kropz may set conditions.
Prize:
The participant(s) whose entry is selected as the winner of the Challenge will receive an all-inclusive holiday package for two, details of which will be communicated separately. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternative.
Partnerships and Collaborations: Participation in the Challenge does not guarantee any business partnerships or collaborations with Kropz Elandsfontein Mine or any other entities. However, selected participants may be approached for further discussions regarding potential partnerships based on the merit of their proposals.
Liability:
Kropz Elandsfontein Mine and its affiliates shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising out of or in connection with participation in the Challenge, including but not limited to any technical malfunctions, computer viruses, or unauthorised access to participant submissions.
Modification and Termination:
Kropz Elandfontein Mine reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Challenge at any time without prior notice, for any reason deemed necessary.
Governing Law:
The Challenge and these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa, and any disputes arising out of or in connection with the Challenge shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
By participating in the Phosphate Innovation Challenge, participants agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions and any decisions made by Nanophos regarding the Challenge.
